Pat Whittle is an award winning Muskoka Artist born in Toronto, Ontario. She moved to Bracebridge about nine months ago and can't think of any place else she would rather be.
Although she is a multi media painter, her first love is printmaking, whether watercolour monotypes, hand pulled lithography (stone and plate) or etching and silkscreen printing.
Recently she has added Chine Colle to her printmaking.
Although not formally taught, Pat improves her techniques by attending workshops developed by very interesting teachers.

Although I have no formal art education I have been highly influenced by the excellent experiences had in the wonderful workshops I have attended.
My consuming need to creat and explore different mediums has led me on a journey of discovery through taking wonderful workshops with highly motivated teachers.
I feel that this exploration will continue for a long time and i do hope that each learning experience will collate with the past discoveries and build on my picture making progress.
